The Buck Collection at UCI IMCA

Coming In (1992, acrylic on arches paper, 23 × 30½ in.) is held in the Buck Collection at the Institute and Museum for California Art (IMCA) at UC Irvine. The roughly 3,300-piece collection, assembled by the late Gerald Buck and donated to UCI in 2014, is widely regarded as one of the most significant private collections of twentieth-century California art, and includes work by Richard Diebenkorn, David Park, Wayne Thiebaud, Joan Brown, and Peter Alexander, among others.

Where the work resides

Henry's paintings have been exhibited at the Oakland Art Museum, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Art, the de Young Museum, the Downey Museum of Art, the Laguna Art Museum, the Crocker Art Museum, and the Bolinas Museum, and are held in the permanent collection of the Institute and Museum for California Art (IMCA) at UC Irvine, as part of the Buck Collection.
